A new idea before you use ittype annotation

A type annotation states the kind of value a name may hold.

A familiar way to picture it

A labelled bin says bottles only before anyone puts an item inside.

Name
Add type
Checked value

You will annotate a React value and render it.

Current Task

Annotate the label as a string.

Take your time with this step

Take this one change at a time. Look for the file and line named in the instruction, make the requested edit, then press Run. If a check does not pass yet, use its message to decide what to inspect before changing anything else.

What the checker will look for

These checks are clues, not a score. After you press Run, read the first unfinished check slowly, compare it with your code, and make one thoughtful change before trying again.

The label has a string annotation
The typed label still renders

Run your code first. If a check needs work, CodeDaddy will guide you from the check to the file, then to an authored hint.

function App() { const label = "Help Desk"; return <main><h1>{label}</h1></main>; }
